Laurie Dornbrand, M.D., M.P.H.

Dr. Laurie Dornbrand has been a physician at On Lok PACE at IOA since the center opened, in 1996. She is board-certified in internal medicine and geriatrics.

Before joining On Lok, Dr. Dornbrand was on the faculty of the Stanford Geriatric Education and Research Center, based at the Palo Alto VA. She has also been an attending physician in the Division of Geriatrics at the University of California, San Francisco, and the Geriatric Clinic at Alameda County Medical Center. She was the lead editor for three editions of an Ambulatory Care Manual for primary care providers, published by Little Brown & Co.

Dr. Dornbrand earned her medical degree from Boston University School of Medicine and her Master of Public Health from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.

She and her husband enjoy visits with their son and daughter, both of whom currently live on the East Coast. She continually has house, garden, and writing projects in the works.

Dr. Dornbrand speaks English and conversational French.
