Covid-19 Response

The safety of our participants and staff, and preventing the spread of COVID-19, remain our top priority.

On Lok PACE centers, On Lok 30th Street Senior Center and senior services, and Openhouse + On Lok Community Day Services continue to follow the most stringent COVID-19 infection control and prevention practices to safeguard the well-being of our participants, families, and staff, as recommended by the Centers for Disease Control (CDC), and the California and County Departments of Public Health.

On Lok PACE:

On Lok PACE continues to provide full-service healthcare to support seniors to remain living at home as long as possible. The program includes a wide range of services available at our centers or your home.

On Lok 30th Street Senior Center and senior services:

We are gradually resuming in-person social activities and classes, with the following requirements for all seniors coming into the center: 1) screening for proof of full vaccination status with booster, 2) use of medical-grade masks, and 3) following social distancing. Space capacities have been updated to provide a safe environment for all.

We are increasing virtual programing across departments, including On Lok Always Active, health promotion education classes, nutrition education classes, activities, special events, and virtual/remote volunteer opportunities.

Meal programs – On Lok Mission Nutrition continues to provide home-delivered meals and congregate meals as a “take out” service, with the option to dine in our beautiful garden. Screening required.

Case Management and Aging & Disability Resource Center (ADRC) – ADRC can provide information and resources onsite to people who do not have a case manager. The case management team is providing home and onsite visits as needed.

Openhouse + On Lok Community Day Services – We are following COVID-19 protocols and screening, as mandated by the San Francisco Department of Social Services.

Our Emergency Management Team continues to make swift and informed decisions to protect our community and staff. We will continue to respond to the latest developments and recommendations from public health authorities.
