Senior Meals
On Lok 30th Street Senior Center is the home base for On Lok Mission Nutrition meal programs, serving hot, nutritious meals to help seniors maintain proper health and strength.
Meals are served in the center’s main dining room and at our five other walk-in dining sites in San Francisco. Our kitchen also prepares meals for delivery to homebound seniors in our home-delivered meals program.
Meals are served congregate dining style as well as take out option for those seniors who wish to take their meals to go.
Our registered dietitians and partners create menus to meet the nutritional needs of older adults.
Menus reflect a variety of food traditions, including Latin American, Asian, and standard American cuisine.
Our meals are low in sodium and meet the general needs of those who are diabetic with dietary restrictions.
Our RD, evaluates restrictions for modified/therapeutic diets and determines if our meal programs meet the client’s needs.
Ours was not going to be a cafeteria where you waited in line and food was slopped on a tray. We were going to do meals with a little bit of class.
