Arlene Lamayo, NP

Arlene is an adult geriatric nurse practitioner at On Lok. She is a board certified adult geriatric primary care nurse practitioner since 2015. Her qualification is BSN - RN, MSN- AGNP-certified graduated Magna Cum laude.

Arlene has been a registered nurse for 25 yrs. She started in the Philippines as an ER nurse then went to Canada for 2 yrs as an ER nurse. After moving to the United States, she started working as a Telemetry RN in SC then moved to FL, GA, and HI. Her last stop was CA where she has remained for 10 yrs. Most of her work background as a nurse practitioner involves working in adult/geriatric primary care/IM in hospital settings, clinics, SNFs and behavioral facilities.

Arlene is a single mom with a 19 year old son who is currently enrolled in a RN program. She has only one sibling who also currently works with On Lok. She loves to cook and is learning to bake during shelter-in-place (which she now enjoys). She loves to travel to different places (mostly tropical islands/beaches). She plays badminton and volleyball and needs to practice more with her swimming skill. She and her mom love to go to the fresh market on Sundays to buy fresh fruits and vegetables. Her family loves fishing, cooking and BBQ picnics.

Arlene speaks both English and Tagalog.
