Carol Lim, N.P.
Carol is an On Lok nurse practitioner who works under the supervision of a doctor to provide medical care to participants at On Lok PACE Gee Center on the Jade team. She is a geriatric certificated nurse practitioner under the American Board of Nursing.
Carol was a nurse at On Lok for 4 years before going back to get her master of nursing and NP license.
Carol has a Bachelor Degree in Biological Science from UC Berkeley; Bachelor Degree in nursing from San Francisco State University; and Master of Science in Nursing and Geriatric NP from UC San Francisco.
Carol was born and raised in Hong Kong and came to the United States when she was 12 years old. She went to high school in Portland, Oregon and came to California when she was accepted to UC Berkeley. She is a triplet and they all live together in Walnut Creek with her mom who is in her 80s. She also has 2 brothers and one younger sister. In her spare time, she loves to teach CPR and first aid classes. She has been volunteering teaching for the Public Health Department for past 30 years. She loves to watch Chinese soap operas on the Chinese channel.
Carol speaks English and Cantonese.
